Powering Bright Futures

Our Mission

Powering Potential uses technology to expand education and employment opportunities for underserved youth in Tanzania.

Every student deserves the chance to reach their full potential as a global citizen.

Our program provides solar-powered computer labs, offline digital curriculum, an internet connection, and digital skills training in areas without reliable electricity or internet access.

By building digital literacy and confidence, students are better prepared to continue their education, find meaningful work, and build brighter futures.

We are working to install solar-powered learning labs at all 23 public secondary schools in the rural district of Karatu. These resources ensure students in rural schools have the same access to technology and learning tools as their urban peers.

To date, Powering Potential has completed solar-powered computer labs at 11 of the 23 schools. With your support, we will complete the remaining schools and expand this model to new districts in the future.

“It is unhidden truth that is going to have an immeasurable impact on youth and all the people in rural areas, as they are going to be exposed to the world of technology where they could meet plenty of social, economic, academic and political opportunities. I have trust in the Powering Potential team. I believe it is the team that will be mentioned in the History of Tanzania in coming days.”
